ABAQUS:

You can directly Import data from ABAQUS by pressing one push button in an easy way.

Another possebility offers dhe CDI-Interface which performs the data transfer between ABAQUS and winLIFE. This manual shows in an example how to use it. The results of fatigue calculation can be shown inside winLIFE (using VIEWER4WINLIFE) so that there is no need to import data into ABAQUS back.

ADINA

The CDI-Interface performs the data transfer between ADINA and winLIFE. This manual shows in an example hot to use it. The results of fatigue calculation are exported to ADINA back and presented there.

ANSYS:

You can directly Import data from ABAQUS by pressing one push button in an easy way.

Furthermore you can do the data-transfer from and to ANSYS happens by macros, which you can use also inside ANSYS Workbench. These tools are shipped with winLIFE. These additional dialogue windows allow an easy access of the macros which perform the export of the stresses needed for fatigue life calculation in winLIFE. In ANSYS Workbench you can access easily the winLIFE results of the fatigue calculation (life, safety, etc.) and present these as iso-plots. Especially for the analysis of weldings, macros are given to export the stress-data and unit vectors vertical to the weld-toe. http://www.ansys.com/

FEMAP and NxNASTRAN:

FEMAP is a pre- and post-processor which gives access to nearly all important FEA-codes. FEMAP is part of the Siemens PLM-Software. It is shipped with the FE-solver NxNASTRAN. The support of the data-transfer from and to FEMAP happens by FEMAP-macros, which are shipped with winLIFE. An additional menu item in the user interface is created which performs the data transfer. NeiNASTRAN:

Nx

You can directly Import data from ABAQUS by pressing one push button in an easy way.

Furthermore dataaAccess to Nx can happen via the winLIFE-CDI (winLIFE-Custom-designable Data Interface). winLIFE can access Nx result files in a way the customer can define.

RecurDyn

A close cooperation between FunctionBay (RecurDyn) and Steinbeis (winLIFE) started since winLIFE version 3.7.2. An Interface was implemented to export the MBS-result deata from RecurDyn to winLIFE and the fatigue-results back.

The winLIFE CDI (winLIFE-Custom-Designable-Interface) enables the data-import from nearly any FEA under the presumtion, that the results (stress tensors) are in ASCII-format. The user has only ONE TIME to define in which column the results are located. The information is stored into a file which can is selected in the future to do the same data import again.
