Statistical analysis gives information about the relation between life parameters like endurance limit, slope, etc. and the fatigue life. Using the theory of DOE (Design of Experiments) a table of projects is defined to calculate the influence of the parameter set to the life.
Multiple polynoms are approximated by curve fitting theory and as a result a mathematical relation between the investigated parameters and the life is got.
Statistical parameters like COI (Coefficient of importance) and the deviation between the winlife calculated fatigue results and the mathematical approximation by the fitted curve are shown to allow the user to judge the quality of approximaion.
3D visualisation of the relation between fatigue Parameters and fatigue life shall help the user to judge the sensitivity and robustness of the system.
